At The Youth Education Service, we have years of experience working in partnership with Virtual Schools and Local Authorities across Merseyside to provide high-quality tuition services for young people of all ages.

We specialise in connecting dedicated Tutors with students who require personalised support, ensuring that every young person receives the education they need to thrive.

Who We Support

We can provide tuition for a wide range of students, including:

  • Children with EHCPs (Education, Health, and Care Plans): For students not currently attending school or those who are unable to attend full time.

  • Looked After Children (LAC) and Previously Looked After Children: Supporting those under local authority care or with a history of care.

  • Emotionally Based Non-Attenders (EBNA): Students unable to attend mainstream school due to emotional challenges.

  • Pupils Requiring Alternative Provision: For students who need an alternative setting to succeed.

  • Pupils Awaiting a School Place: Ensuring continuity of education during transitions.

  • Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC): Providing tailored support to meet the educational needs of young people seeking asylum in the UK who have been separated from their parents/carers.

Our Approach to Tuition

We specialise in 1:1 tuition and intervention and small group sessions tailored to the needs of the young person. Our Tutors are experienced in delivering lessons across a variety of subjects, including:

  • English

  • Maths

  • Science

  • ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages)

  • Functional Skills
